Want to Serve Variety of Cocktails for Your Party Guests?

Has Happy Hour gotten a little mundane? Do you find yourself wishing you were sitting poolside at a swim-up bar somewhere in the Keys instead of kicking back beers at a boring sports bar?

If you want to add a touch of paradise to your get togethers, look no further. It’s easy to be the life of the party when you have a Margaritaville Mixed Drink Mixer.

To make sure you “drink responsibly”, it’s always good to know what you’re getting into when you purchase a drink mixer.

Here’s a quick rundown of the product features, pros, and cons as part of this Margaritaville review.

Few Highlights of Margaritaville Mixed Drink Mixer

The Margaritaville Mixed Drink Maker is almost like having a mini-bartender in your house (who doesn’t need to be tipped). The best part is it can be set up to make 48 varieties of cocktails at once.

Here’s how it works: select your liquor and drink mixes and add them to the four containers on the machine. From there, the mixer takes over and quickly cranks out your favorite drinks “on tap.”

The digital display conveniently shows the ingredients of each drink for easy selection. With some fun features like an “I Feel Lucky” button which spins to select a random drink and a “Drink Strength” switch to pack some extra punch, the Margaritaville Mixed Drink Maker is sure to impress your guests.

Each drink is an 8-ounce pour. The drink basins are dishwasher safe; however the other pieces are recommended hand wash only.

Where It Scores Well

There are plenty of great features to showcase in this Margaritaville review. This drink system is very easy to use and a breeze to clean up once it’s empty (and it will be empty quickly once your guests get a hold of it!)

The basins are sturdy, color-coded, and durable. This makes it very easy to load your favorite cocktails and clean up after the party. The drink stand itself is also very sturdy, so there’s no question about spilling cocktails or making a mess.

Besides the durability of the product, the variety is a key feature any buyer should consider. Being able to create 48 different cocktails with one machine sets this drink maker apart from the competition. Plus, there is an option to just dispense one shot of liquor at a time for those guests who might want something stronger.

Where It Can Do Better

Even though it’s in a class by itself, the Margaritaville Mixed Drink Maker does have a few drawbacks. One major complaint is that it only holds one liquor type at a time, so only 16 options are available at once, not 48.

Also, oddly enough, it does not make margaritas. It simply mixes the liquor with your selected drink mixes and allows you to pour it over ice. The mixer also does not chill the drinks in the basins.

Some users have been unhappy that you cannot use carbonated beverages in the basins or any juice with pulp since it could clog the dispenser. The plug is also a little on the short side, so make sure it’s close to an outlet when you fill the basins; otherwise, it’s too awkward/heavy to move when they’re filled.

The Verdict

If you want to impress and entertain your friends at your next gathering, the Margaritaville Mixed Drink Maker will not disappoint. Consider it a well built novelty item that will liven up any party for years to come.

The number of candidates for the best mixed drink maker is certainly not as large as what you have for the best blender. Margaritaville Mixed Drink maker is certainly worth its place as the best mixed drink maker.

But this machine is not designed for everyone. If you need to make small serving quantities at once, you might be better off with Margaritaville DM0500 or DM300, the smaller siblings of the mixed drink maker that you’ve just seen.
