Blenders are one of those appliances that every kitchen needs to have. One of the most popular blenders that are currently on the market is the Hamilton Beach Wave Station Express Dispensing Blender.
As reflected in various blender reviews, this blender has a number of different features that have piqued many customers’ interest. Of course, there are a number of advantages and disadvantages associated with it. What are they? Read on to find out.
Feature Highlights of Hamilton Beach Wave Station Dispensing Blender
Powerful Ice Crusher
The sheer number of features has catapulted the Hamilton Beach Wave Station Express Dispensing Blender to a high level of popularity. One of these features includes the ability to crush ice.
This allows ice to be blended to a point where there are no chunks that have the possibility of ruining a drink or smoothie. Another feature is that the blender is entirely safe to put in the dishwasher.
Many other blenders need to be washed by hand, a process that takes an extended period of time and is not nearly as effective as washing the dishes in the dishwasher.
Dishwashers tend to be able to sanitize all dishes much more effectively, removing the chances that they carry lingering germs that could threaten a user’s health.
Patented Wave Action System
A third feature is that of the Wave-Action® system. This patented system is able to take the pieces of food that are at the top of the blender and pull it down to the bottom of the blender.
This allows the materials at the top of the blender to be able to have access to the blades and be blended properly. This process is continually occurring, ensuring that all of the materials that are placed in the blender are blended evenly.
Solid Blades with Speed Control
A fourth feature is that it has stainless steel blades that will not rust very quickly or degrade. This is important because it allows the blender to remain functional for a greater period of time than it would be able to otherwise.
An additional feature is the number of speeds that the blender allows. The blender allows for four different speeds to be utilized, allowing the blender to be extremely efficient for a wide variety of different types of foods.
There is also a pulse function that will finish off the materials in the blender and keep bulky materials from being stuck. The Hamilton Beach Wave Station Express Dispensing Blender has a 350 watt motor.
Made to Last
This blender is made of material that’s durable enough to last for an extended period of time without needing to be replaced or repaired, saving the owner the frustration that such a malfunction would cause. Finally, this blender has a spout cap that will keep unwanted materials from entering the blender, protecting the materials inside.
This product features a 3 year warranty, meaning that any defects in the product that were not caused by the person using it will be either replaced or refunded for a period of up to three years.
In numerous blender discussion, one thing that gets raved about most often by many Wave Station owner is how little footprint it leaves behind at the countertop. This blender is small enough to be transported evenly and not take up an excessive amount of space in a kitchen that might have a lot of other appliances.
It is also one of the more affordable blenders that are available for sale. The fact that it can be placed in the dishwasher is a very important advantage because it makes sanitizing it easy.
The main disadvantage is a slight lack of efficiency with regards to crushing ice. Occasionally, if the ice does not fall correctly, it will not be evenly crushed and will have annoying ice chunks.
Another complaint is that the blender is not able to easily be taken apart to individually clean the pieces and blades. This makes it hard to clean the blender thoroughly.
Is It for You?
Ultimately, that’s a question that you have to answer it yourself. You’ve now seen all the features and what Hamilton Beach Wave Station Dispensing blender is capable of.
For me, the key highlight of this blender is its dispensing feature. But not everyone will agree. If you only need to make 1 serving of smoothies each time, this feature is of little value. But if you need to make 4 or 5 servings each time, it might be a handy feature to have.
Nonetheless, some still see it as a gimmick. What about you? Do you think you’ll put your investment in a Hamilton Beach Wave Station?
