Who says all girls get hit on in RL? I never get hit on by anybody. (Then again, I don't get out much). At school I rarely got hit on either, unless as a joke. Anyway, getting hit on in SL just means you have good artistic skills or have good taste in choosing an avatar and dressing her up. Who knows how ugly the woman is actually controlling her? It could be a man for all you know.

Dear Anonymous, are you using the right template to make the skirt? Be sure you are using the skirt template if you are making an SL slider skirt (the ones you make with the Appearance menu).

If you are making a flexi skirt, you need to use a texture file with NO transparency (no Alpha channels). You should have a solid texture and save to a .jpg file.

I would really like to know how to make a plaid texture so i could make my own schoolgirl outfits. It seems that everytime i try it turns invisible and i look like im wearing cut pieces of fabric. PRetty funny but not practical.

I'd like to suggest/request an update to this entry, or perhaps a whole new entry on a new subject that you don't seem to have covered yet. "Rules of Engagement" for private voice chat. In a way, it's kind of like giving RL info out; and yet, it's different. Do you think you might cover that sometime soonish? (I'm not even sure if the use of voice is still evolving, new as it is, or if it's pretty much settled.

P.S. Did anyone ever tell you they love you for your fairly prompt replies to comments even on old posts? If not, I love you for that. ;)

Dear Anonymous, lol I understand what you are saying. I just dont want to seem rude in my profile. I know that some people just want to be friendly and say "Hi". SL is suppose to be a social place :)

Lately I found a good way to be left alone if Im in a hurry: just start flying. Most people will leave you alone if you are not on the ground. So when I have time to chat, I just pop back on the ground :)

Ciare, your appearance really does matter in SL. So yes, I know I get hit on sometimes because of the way I dress (I try to dress fashionable nice). I know if I made my AV unattractive, I would get less "Hey Sexy's". But I love clothes, so that takes away all the fun of being in SL!

Regarding theatres, Im not sure what you mean by techies. But there is a ballet troup and I read about a group that performs plays. I did not write about it, since they are more like events. But you might find them using Google...

Always fun to get a comment on a random old post, I'm sure... But I'm just wandering aimlessly around the blog.

It's actually fairly easy not to get hit on in the first place. My schoolgirl avatar never gets hit on, and really shouldn't (plain body, oversized glasses, a grey v-neck sweater over a long sleeved, high-collar blouse..). She's cute but not 'hey guys, bother me!' cute.

What I've always wondered, in fact, is what makes someone 'hot' in a virtual world where everyone is indeed hot. Fashion sense? Personality? The 'hey sexy' guys aren't looking for personality..

(Oke, anyway, what I'm really at your blog for today is anything about theatres, preferably ones that need any kind of techie, but all I see is music stages.)
