Day 1213: Countdown to Grand Opening (11 days to go)
Progress report since yesterday:

Eek! 11 days to go...
Time to stop dinking around and get stuff built for real.
Where to start? OK, the floor. I'll start dropping floor tiles, put shelves in, then go from there.
Plop down those sand-textured tiles, and close up the ends with sim terrain. They blend into each other naturally, so no seams.
At this rate, I'll be done in no time :)
This is where the shelves meet the ocean. I would like to put the shelves at an angle like this to make things less cluttered.
This is half of the 45 degree mark (umm...22.5 degrees?) How am I going to cut off this end piece?
Use Top Shear?
But how am I going to make the other end disappear? Plus the sand textures wont match...there'll be a big seam :(

But that only works for 45 degree angles.
And I cant use sculptie, cause they act weird when you walk on them.
*sigh*
Oh, oh, how about if I use sim terrain to fill the ends?
Then put a piece of sculptie rock to close off the end. I can use sculptie here, cause no one is going to walk on it.
Now, humans and mermaids can both shop from this display :)

Leave a gap between shelves for some fashion photos.

Let's add a water channel, so mermaids can get to the New Releases.
And bridges, so people dont fall into the water channel ;P

The restart got me earlier. I was afk for breakfast, and sitting over in Mithica, and I came back to being d/c-ed. x_x
I can wait to see this when it's all finished. :3
Also, for some of the fashion shots, have you thought if using pictures of some of your customers? Arachne, I've noticed, does this, and I think a few other stores do too. It'd save some hassle for you of making new shots. :)

I do eventually want to use modeled shots. lol but Im terrified of the drama, cause there's only room for a few pix ;P
I already get a lot of modeling request. Since Im not a photographer (far from it ;P), and I have no idea what to do with them!
