Day 697: Templum Ex Obscurum

Were you ever in the mood to go somewhere really...wet? As in dampy, hazy, foggy, swampy, humid wet?
Then welcome to Templum Ex Obscurum (and the Crucible sim next door), probably the wettest places in SL :P
Did I mention foggy?
Templum is a deliciously marshy jungle, with tangles of plants everywhere and no trail in sight...
Along the way are some wonderful surprises, all done with beautiful textures and lighting...
Water seems to be the theme of Templum...
Just makes a mermaid homesick :)
And the seascape is spectacular, with super real textures of waves swishing about...
When you are done, go next door to the Crucible sim (under construction).
It's a swamp so real, you might just fall right in ;P
and where the rain and thunder never seem to end...
For a different bit of scenery, check out Templum Ex Obscurum (and Crucible). Click the Map button, and enter "templum" as the keyword. The SLURL is Templum ex Obscurum (128,128,0).
Mr. Gargoyle, have you see my boyfriend around? He's about a 0.25M sphere, blue, and sometimes has writing above his head...

w00t! If you hadn't explored this one this week I would have been suggesting it - visited it and spent hours there - mainly (being a builder) trying to figure out some of the effects have been created. Great sim and look forward to seeing where it goes to next....
Natalia!
Are you going to add your wonderful photographs to the "Templum ex Obscurum - A NPIRL photographic challenge" Flickr pool? You can find it here: http://www.flickr.com/groups/templumnpirlchallenge/
You can read all about it on the group's main page. We're still in the first week of the challenge.
See you there!
