Day 596: Bay City

Welcome to Bay City, the new group of Mainland sims in Second Life :)

Its been all over the Linden blogs, so I thought I'd go check them out!

Bay City is a themed set of sims run by the Lindens, set in the 1930 to 1960's.

At the moment, Bay City has only roads and a few Linden-built attractions. They will be selling the land for residents to build on very soon.

But there are already a bunch of interesting places to visit.

At the moment, the popular hangout (where all the green dots are) seem to be Cafe Deco...

Gorgeous beaches for lying around...

Theres a bowling alley...

And even a huge movie theater...

Playing movies about bunches of guys in blue jumpsuits...

Hey, didnt I see this over at the International Spaceflight Museum?

Be sure and check out Molexandria, the archeological site where they unearthed ancient prims...

Can you find your way thru the Labyrinth before you get dizzy? Fabulous prizes await the daring few ;P

They even have a whole harbor area, where they import prims from overseas :P

And there are train and water trollies, perfect for tours around the city...

To come to the Bay City sims, click on Map, and enter "bay city" in the Search box ("Bay City - Molesworth" is a good starting sim). The SLURL for Club Deco is Bay City - Molesworth (73,154,25).

Oh no...the Linden Moles are nekos!

Eeek! Better warn the other mermaids ;P
