Day 564: Ballers City
Basketball, anyone? The Ballers City sim is dedicated to basketball in SL!
Heehee OK, so everyone knows mermaids cant dribble...at least this one... ;P
Fortunately, even dribble-challenged mermaids can - kinda - play...
First, click on one of these Blue cylinder thingies for instructions (umm...dont ask why its a Blue cylinder thingie :P)
Then click on one of these racks of basketballs. It will give you a basketball.
Simply Wear it, and off you go :)
Just walk up to the basket...
Go to Mouselook (press "M")...aim above the basket, and click the mouse button to shoot!
Did I mention I cant play basketball? ;P
There are some signs with tips on playing in one corner of the sim.
Or just jump right in :)
Ballers City is a pretty busy sim, so theres usually someone around to play with. You can practice by yourself, or even play in teams (passing balls, blocking, and all that cool stuff :D).
So if you like basketball or sports, check out Ballers City. Click on Search, select Places, and enter "ballers". The SLURL is Ballers City (108,128,0).
Beer, Chinese food, and Coke? Eeeew! :P

LOL, no more rotten days than most folks, I guess *grins*. Still, I DO love following the ongoing adventures of the Little Mermaid That Could, hehehe. I'd like to do a journal of the Ill-Advised Adventures of Arc if I ever get some time to go exploring (and figure out how to take better pics. It's sad when ya end up w/ your thumb over the lens when doing SL photos, heheheh). You're an inspiration to us all, Nat! :D

Arcadian, heehee you should do an adventure blog (or a Flickr page with just pix). Lol Im actually bad at taking pix...you dont want me behind a camera in RL ;P Im glad you're having fun exploring SL though! Thats the whole point :)
Mysteryman, lol Im here...actually, a combination of taking forever to make the new hairs, running out of new places to go, and not having a lot of time in SL. Hope to get caught up...one of these days ;P
