Day 515: Abyss Museum of Ocean Science

Ever wondered whats under the water (other than mermaids ;P)?
The Abyss is a museum/exhibit area dedicated to the underwater world. Its kinda like the Internation Spaceflight Museum. Except more mermaidy :)
They have lots of exhibits and information displays...
And lots of cool freebies, like an antique diving suit or this beanie cap ;)
But the cool part, of course, are the underwater exhibit areas...
Where you can go down to different depths without ever getting wet.
But whats the fun if you dont get wet?
Theres an Imagination Garden...sorta an underwater dating area for mermaids ;P
Ooo...ooo...thermal vents! My favorite underwater hotspot :)
Umm...whats that shiny thingie back there?
And there are lots of Human observation tubes, for viewing Humans underwater :)

hey natalia, i was wondering if you could get mermaid avs that fit kids cause im a kid in SL
Tori, heehee I experimented with a tiny mermaid tail a few months back (I was trying to make a tiny mermaid to see how small I could shrink :P). I did end up making myself pretty small (not exactly a tiny, but smaller than kid size :D). I havent seen a ready-to-wear mermaid tail for kids (you might want to check the Sirens Mermaid Mall though).
But if you are comfortable with Editing prims, you can find a mermaid tail with Mod permission, and shrink/fit it to what you need. The Sirena tails have Mod permission (as do some of the others at the Mermaid Mall). Just a word of warning: its a bit tricky to fit them once you shrink it, cause leg attachments go on at really weird angles.
