Day 471: Gion Project
Ohayo Gozaimasu and welcome to the Gion Project :)

The Gion Project is modeled after the Gion district in Kyoto, Japan. Gion is a well-known geisha district in Japan.
There are lots of cool Japanese freebies, including this gorgeous kimono!
Heehee, it doesnt take much to get me to dress up ;P
Gion is full of wonderful sights...
And interesting things to do...like playing mahjong or checkers...
Or go on a quest to search for a number of "priceless" objects! Check out the Gion Project website for info...
Unfortunately, I havent found any of the scrolls or keys :(
Heehee theres that fat Japanese cat I see in all the Japanese sims!
Oh, and you have to try the Japanese calligraphy thingie! Heehee it can be a bit messy :P

Click on Search, select Places, and enter "gion" as the keyword. The SLURL is Gion (90,146,24).
Oh dont forget the tour around the sim in a rickshaw. Just be sure to bring your BF, cause someone has to do the pulling :)

Caterin, I totally agree! I love the Japanese sims in SL...they are all so detailed and pretty. And the designs are really amazing!
I went last night and wore my beautiful kimono. Even convinced the pahtner to go. :o) A funny, funny thing happened with the rickshaws though. Classic!
I sat in it, the pahtner sat in it, but he was beside me and we were trying to to figure out how to make it go...so I clicked on the harness part and the next thing you know, ME in my beautiful kimono is pulling the pahtner down the road. LMBO he was screaming for me to stop and was so embarrassed that he jumped out. *hee*
