Day 366: Avaria & Grendel’s Children
Welcome to Avaria, an incredibly detailed fantasy sim, and also home to the Grendel's Children store.
Grendel's Children sells fantasy avatars, most at amazingly low prices. Everything from dragons to birds to really weird monsters.
They also have Deep Sea Siren mermaid avatars. Second cousins, many times removed. Always causing trouble at family gatherings ;P
One of the coolest things to do at Avaria is to hatch your own Draklet Egg :)
Just buy one of these egg carriers for L$30. You need to explore the sim and find a spot where the Draklet will hatch. They are kinda picky ;P
But you get this *CUTE* little baby dragon :)

Avaria is HUGE, with 4 connected sims!
The Grendel's Children store and a number of buildings are in the air. When you arrive, you get a Notecard with a Flight Feather. You should consider Wearing the Flight Feather, in case you have problems crossing sims (and end up falling to the ground below!)
There are beautiful gardens in the sky...
Or stop by the library, where you can check out all the different species of Draklets (that can hatch from the egg) and read the history of Avaria.
You can choose to just explore, or engage in light free-form role-playing. But just remember, not everyone is role-playing here :)

And you absolutely must see the ground level! Its easy to get to...just fall off something :)
It has a desert and lush oasis...
And many underground tunnels with beautiful waterfalls and caverns!

Baby dragons eat poseballs. When they get larger, they eat avatars. Don't take it to places where tinies gather, please. The carnage is horrible, and the poor tinies squeak pitifully.
Oh cool, you made it to hatch your own lil dragon! I love that place... I snagged a larger verison of the Dragon AV. (to make my lil one at home) *winks*
Dear Anonymous, *Eeeekkk* dont say that! That cant be true, cause there are all these poseballs on Isle of Wyrms and they look OK... ;P
Besides, my little baby Poof (thats his name) would do that! He loves his Mommy! Im going to start him on a nice vegetarian diet :)

I have two of the drakelets. sooo cute! I love grendels I have found I have to stay away or I buy lots of stuff! he he.
It's a really neat place with a great group of people.

Ekio, I love Grendel's too! A mermaid friend brought me there the first time nearly a year ago. Theyve grown quite a bit in the meantime! :)

Hey, do those dracklets really grow or eat or anything? I know that nobody has posted for a while, but I'm curious, I might like to get one.
Dear Anonymous, heehee they dont grow or eat, but are just really cute and naughty shoulder pets (especially mine ;P) They have a little HUD thing that lets you control their eyes and even have then breath fire and stuff :)
Thanks for telling me that, was curious, but I've got one (more like 3) now and I am just now getting a royal, they are pretty. I have a dragon avatar so it's fun

I went there and found the egg carrier but not the eggs can you tell me where I would find them
Krystina, there are special places on the surface to hatch the eggs. The egg would send you a message when you are near one of these places (there are several of them). Its kinda fun to explore ;)
I think I got mine near an oasis, but there are several others...
