Day 246: Sirena Hair for Men

Last week was the grand opening of the new Sirena Hair & Fashion store. I promised something for the guys, so here they are! :)

Introducing 6 new hair-styles for men! Each comes in 3 sizes (S)mall, (M)edium, and (L)arge for easy fitting. With 48 different shades available! (And just for you guys, I changed Brunette to Brown :P)

The hairs can be color-tinted (with 66 different colors) to give you even more color choices.

Check out the Free Hair Color Samples to see all 48 textures :)

Bill is scruffy, a cross between a rocket scientist and a billionaire...

Corporate is the respectable Steve. The corporate executive. The guy who hangs out at the corporate sims :) Do people really work in corporate sims?

Mark has a bit of an attitude. He might check out the corporate sims if it suits him. But isnt it more fun to hang out at the beach?

Kevin has never been in a corporate sim. He's got way too many prims in his hair. He would probably crash the corporate sim :P

Rick is the musician...and musicians need long hair :)

And finally, Roberts...as in Dread Pirate Roberts from The Princess Bride. OK, Westley's hair is shorter in the movie, but I didnt say *WHICH* Dread Pirate Roberts :P

So check out the new men's hair at the new Sirena store :) Click on Search, select Places, and enter "sirena" as the keyword.

Heehee it was fun to bring Second Steve out of my closet again! He's been incredibly busy this past week!

BTW, I had a heck of a time finding a decent-priced men's skin for Steve. Thankfully, my friend Bagnaria of B&B Skins came to the rescue! Bill, Corporate, Mark, and Kevin are all using B&B's Bratt skin. They have great male and female skins at a good price. They are located at Firemaw (122,137,34) (Search/Places for "affordable skins").

Luke stands in front of the display wide-eyed. He looks from one style to the next, finally resting on Roberts, feeling a little relief. He turns toward the store entrance and slowly walks away.

My Dear Lady Zelmavov,

You are a wonderful designer – a true artist by any definition.

Do these styles truly reflect how a Lady wishes to view a Gentleman? I would like to offer you a Gentleman's perspective sometime, if you would be so inclined. I hesitate to comment using this medium for fear it would be taken as public criticism. It would be foolish of me to even risk such a misinterpretation for one whose talent I greatly respect. I merely seek to satisfy my personal curiosity and wonder of the female perspective.

Thank you for your consideration and your continued effort in design. Simply wonderful.

With Great Respect,

Luke Poplin

Dear Miss Zelmavov,
Thank you for providing more options to the derth of hair options for men... the choices we usually have usually minimal, which can be frustrating if one doesn't want a pony tail or tussled hair. I will make a bee line to your store obtain some of your selection (esp. the corporate one - finaly a hair that one can wear for business)! Thanks again,
Rafael Fabre

The first thing I wanted to change on my person was the hair.

I have only been dipping my toe into second life, but I am finding the results quite ironic. In real life I don't worry about my hair at all.

How much do women consider "looks" in Second Life?

Ok Miss Super SL store Owner/Web Guru/Comedian :D

Once again I am in awe.. Have you thought possibly about starting a Group?
I mean for those of us that might like to hear from you. “Hey I just made a new fancy dress” or “Jacks come get some hair PLEASE” or better yet “I just updated my web page”.

Just an Idea :D You know like you don’t have anything else to do………
*quietly walks off mumbling dumb.. Dumb.. Dumb..*

Hi Natalia!
Oooh! Beautiful, beautiful! I love these hairs! The guys better hurry, because there are a couple there that I am buying for ME! Do you know how hard it is to find beautiful short styles for women?
---------
To the very polite "Ancient of the Mist";
There are many ways that ladies wish to view gentlemen, but true ladies will view them in a kinder light if their first impression is one of a gentlemen who cares about his personal appearance. As a lady, I am much more likely to cultivate a friendship with a gentlemen who is carefully groomed than I am with one who looks like he IS the groom (of the horses).
Of course there are other types of females in SL. One designer even has a line of clothes called "Slut Wear". Thankfully, it is not our beautiful Natalia, who will not display or wear this terrible excuse for fashion!
The very best to you, kind sir, and I bid you good morrow!

Kindest regards,
LadyAyn

Hi, Natalia! I visited your new shop. It's big and nice. You always surprising! I wished that I can meet you the day but not...:( But I want to tell you, these hairs are so beautiful really! Doing men's hair is harder then women's.

No more excuses boys, and it dramatically increases your chance of getting that dance...

Luke, heehee I think know what style hair you like :) I admit Ive been making "normal" guys hair. More RL than SL, really... Second Steve is the corporate/surfer type, so it might take him a while to get the wilder hair :P

Rafael, thanks for stopping by! I hope you like the "business" hair styles...lol I wasnt sure if I should have made those or not :P

Casius, hair is probably the most noticeable thing about your avatar, next to perhaps your shape/skin. So we do see a guy's hair, because thats the first thing we tend to see :) If you like to socialize in SL, you should have some nice prim hair just to get away from the new-resident look. Fortunately, we dont expect you guys to change hair with your outfits ;)

Jacks, lol I think Im blushing :P I really should start something like a group...I was hesitant because I didnt want to bother/spam people. Not to mention I have no idea how to run one :P Thanks for the encouragement...I will try to put one together :)

LadyAyn, thank you so much! I was planning to make some shorter styles for women as well. But they are going to be completely different than the guys :) Ive been busy clipping magazines for that European model look :P

Dear Anonymous, thank you so much for stopping by :) I agree that men's hair is surprisingly hard to make (and how many prims they used!) Kevin has like 120-something prims :P

Caterin, heehee thats true :)
