Day 226: Altstadt
At first glance, Altstadt is a shopping sim, modeled after a German village. Actually, its not very German, since most of the signs here are in English, and so are most of the visitors (like me :P)
But its actually quite an interesting place...
First, grab one of these free electric shoppy carts :) They are available at any of the "Altstadt Shoppy Rental" booths around the sim.
They drive just like an electric cart, and even makes noises just like one :) You have to try it!
OK...OK, I know you can just fly around the sim. But you can also drive around and Alt-Zoom into the shops :P
There are all kinds of shops here, from clothing to houses to zombie skins :P Theres even a bank!
My personal favorite: this vendor machine store! It has a Hello Kitty machine that gives out free Hello Kitty T-shirts :)
Of course, you didnt think I brought you here just to shop, did you? :P
On the bottom (south) part of the sim, theres an amusement area. You know, rides and stuff :)
Im standing at the top of a giant waterslide!
And the quickest way down is on the waterslide! Whhheeeeee!!!!
They also have bowling for just L$1 per game!

Wow, look at all this beer! I must be in a German sim :)
This is in a party tent, next to all the rides. They must throw some really cool parties here :)
If you like to shop or like rides, come see Altstadt! Its a cool mixture of both. Click on Search, select Places, and enter "altstadt" as the keyword. The SLURL is Altstadt (91,145,24).
Paisley! Along with all the spring prints, paisley is back this season :)
So I had to make a paisley outfit! Its a little white T-shirt, with a paisley dress on top. Just like the one I have in RL. Its a bit weird to wear the same thing as your avatar :P
I never realized it, but paisley comes out beautifully in SL! Now I have to find some more paisley patterns ;)

Taffy, Vanity is definitely one of the best gowns! BTW, I wrote to the original artist who painted the Vanity picture on Deviantart.com.
