Day 197: Avilion Isle
Natalia has written about Avilion Grove and Avilion Mist before. These are Medieval role-playing sims that are high on romance, and very light on role-playing. You would expect that from a blonde mermaid, wouldnt you?
But now, there is the new Avilion Isle sim, dedicated to Medieval fantasy role-playing :)

Whereas Avilion Grove and Avilion Mist are strictly non-combat, Avilion Isle permits combat, and even has tournament events.
But dont worry, you need to wear the combat meter to participate in combat.
Avilion Isle is open to humans and other races (elves, drows, dragons, faeries, pixies, dwarves, etc.) But appropriate dress is required. And there are free outfits by the arrival area.
Avilion Isle is divided into 2 areas:
Valinor, for those who dwell above-ground, mostly in the trees.
I had to get this one in here: a harpsicord in a hollow tree... :)
And you really can dwell here by renting one of the treehouses. In case you are one of those sun-shiny elves who thinks everything is pretty and bright...
Then, theres L'Renden, the area below ground.
This is more like it. This is where the evil creatures live :) Like the dark elves, and evil Alts of blonde mermaids :P
Like the above-ground area, there are apartments below ground that you can rent as well.
They seem have a number of ways to execute tresspassers: burning at the stake, hanging, a rack, and a nasty looking cage thing.

So what do you think happens when a role-playing sim has a bunch of people living above ground and a bunch living below ground? Thats why they call it role-playing :)

it does sound like a nice place though, hopefully it will become a popular place for all the D&D fans
Trouble, more likely Morgana :) When I was there, it was mainly elves and dark elves. Although humans are definitely welcome. :)
Caterin, oh yes. Definitely a place for elves, both bright and dark. You and Bailey look really cool in your elven outfits! I think you make a great pair of elves :)
Tiana, the elvish insults are definitely funny! I wonder where that came from? Um...anyone speak elvish?
All the Avilion Sims are amazing builds, but the sim owner is a real jerk. It's worth a visit if you;ve never been but beware of some of the people.
