Day 135: Mermaid in Chi

MERMAID POST! :)

So I was thinking of a nice place to go with lots of water... There are many beaches in Second Life. Some even allow clothing :P But Chi has to be one of the prettiest "nice" beaches in SL.



Chi is a truly spiritual place, where you can come to meditate, relax, or ride the waves :)

Several of my friends have told me about Chi, since it is their favorite hangout. I have been waiting for a good excuse to come here :)



Come admire the volcano, with its continuous lava flow. You can even have picnic at the base of the mountain :)



Or take a bath in one of the many pools around the island. Yes, mermaids take baths too! :)

Now, many people come to Chi to surf. Well, mermaids cant exactly use a surfboard...

But we dont need one. In fact, we surf quite well without it :) All we need to do is swin in front of the wave, poke our heads above water (Surface Swim using my Swim Gem HUD)...



And body surf like the best of them :)



Of course, if you are human and need a surfboard, you can buy one here at the surf shop. They are the same cool boards you find over at Tropical Island Surf.



Oh oh! And the coolest thing in Chi is the Human Bowl :) They have a giant glass bowl underwater that lets you watch humans without their silly bubble tubes. Way cool, isnt it? :)

If you ever want to get away from the stress of Second Life, come to Chi to meditate, relax, watch the ocean, and surf the waves. Click on Search, select the Places tab, and enter "chi" as the keyword. The SLURL is Chi (133,109,53).



I made a couple new mermaid tails, just because its been a while :) They use the same prim structure as my other mermaid tails. Just different texture sets. This one is a glittery gold. The other one is a soft pastel for when I am cheery :)

I have actually tried different prim structures and fins for the tails. Most of them look funny. So I am still working out a new design. Hmmm...maybe I should work on mermaid jewelry or animations instead... :)



No Blue, there are no such things as mermaids. Its just silly rumors that people spread around to get you to come to the beach ;P
