Remember when you were a child and there was a magical place with lots of rides, shows, games, and junk food? :) Well, thats what Djorkland Amusements is like in Second Life!
My friend Caterin brought me here last week and we had so much fun! So Ive been dying to come back :)
Cotton candy, anyone? When was the last time you had cotton candy? :)
I mentioned rides, right? How about combat bumper boats :) Just press "E" to shoot your cannon! Hey, where did everyone go?
And bumper cars. Watch out, Caterin is deadly in these things :P
And my favorite, most awesomest ride: The giant waterslide! Its the stack of long tubes that run into the sky.
Just go to the base and touch the Teleport button.
Pick a color and off you go! :)
Oh, its good to come early: Sometimes, extra inner tubes get left inside the slide, which jams up the slide. If you get stuck, just jump off and try the other side! Its really a cool ride :)
Then theres the Super Slide! too :)
I mentioned games too, right :) Theres skeeball! And I got 85 points on my first game. Is that good? :P
On top of all the fun and games, Djork has weekly events and is a live music and dance venue.

Youve probably guessed by now that Im wearing a schoolgirl outfit :)
I made a schoolgirl outfit a while back when I first started the blog. It was made up of mostly freebie items. The only thing I made was the skirt.
So a few months later, Ive learned so much more about make clothes. I thought I would give the schoolgirl outfit another try :)
I am also making this outfit to see what it would take to make a man's dress shirt.
It turns out that a white dress shirt is a pretty challenging thing to make. For one thing, its white. So its hard to draw anything on it without having it look... well... like its being drawn on.
I finally think I have a decent shirt collar :) Its made of 2 really twisted hollowed cylinders glued together in the back. Really... twisting them was the big secret to getting that triangular front :)
The tie is, of course, flexi-prim :) It fits nicely under the collar and gives it a realistic look. It does occasionally sink into the chest area, but this should not be a problem for guys :P
As for the skirt, this was the first time I tried using Ged Larsen's new LoopRez Deluxe. It took a few mins for me to get used to it, but what a huge difference it makes!
LoopRez Deluxe lets you change the skirt settings AFTER it has been generated and linked :) It even comes with a pose stand. So you stand on the pose stand, and fiddle with the settings until the skirt fits! No more going back and forth loading the generator with new panels.
Just about anything can be changed, including size, rotation, texture, and flexi. It even has an adjustment for the butt! :) No really, this was so cool. Its the first time I didnt have to adjust the panels on the back by hand. This skirt did not require manual adjustments!
I really hope that Ged starts selling this wonderful tool soon! (Just put it in a prim and mark it for sale... please! :) )
Oh and the shoes are from Sarah's Freebie Paradise. Its the Naughty Mary Janes that sell for $1L. Well worth it. They are the perfect schoolgirl shoes :)
This lousy Love Tester said I was "Blah" :(
