Day 126: Sunday Miss Second Life Casual Wear/Building Event
Its Sunday! Today is the Miss Second Life Casual Wear/Build Event for my group. This is the voting event for the scenes we built a few weeks ago. 
And heres my little scene, called "Tea for Two". We were given 15 minutes and a set of 12 textures to build these scenes with.
Today, we were divided into 7 different groups, with 3 to 6 girls per group. There were only 3 girls in my group. From the left, its Cindel's bar scene, my tea scene, and Terry's large heart on the right.
Heres the dreaded Live Audience/Onsite Voting Board. Lag was terrible today, so most people couldnt even see it! :P
Judges and the public have a chance to inspect the scenes we built and vote on them. The scores were weighted like this:
Judges: 50%
Live Audience (Onsite Voting): 25%
Web Voting: 25%
So for the many of you who came to vote in person or on the website (or did both), thank you so very much for your support. I really really really appreciate this! You really made all the difference! Here are the final results:
Group 5
Natalia Zelmanov 3+1+1.5 = 5.5 (+4)
Terry Simon 1+1.5+1 = 3.5 (+3)
Cindel Walcott 2+.5+.5 = 3 (+1)
I came in first in my group (thanks to all your support!). :)
For the build event, the judges picked me first, Cindel second, and Terry third (thats the first number in our scores).
For the Live Audience Voting, Terry came first, I was second, and Cindel third (the second number in our scores).
For the Web Voting, I came first, Terry second, and Cindel third.
The last number (the "+4" behind my name) is the points we earned from this event. Here are the Current Point Standings for all contestants.
I currently have a total of 8 points. I *think* there is only 1 more event, the Swimwear/Trivia Competition. This last event will have a possible 7 points: 3 for the outfit, 3 for the trivia contest, and 1 point for showing up :)
The Live Audience and Web Voting made ALL the difference! So thank you again!
I would like to organize a Blog Party after the final Miss Second Life event! I would love to meet all of you and thank everyone in person!
So any suggestions for a venue? :)

As for venues, the The Love Club (Jazz), is beautifully laid out, and almost always empty... it's at Plush Terra (31, 81, 23)

Hey Natalia! Congrats! will be lookin forward for the next event. Couldnt go inworld because of the lag and pc problemas, but I voted on the site.
I'd love to attend to a blog party and meet u :) I personally think it all depends on the style for the party, I love ballrooms but I also like casual bars, clubs, like the Blarney Stone in Dublin.
