I dont usually write about events and News (thats because they wont give me a press badge :P). But occasionally I manage to sneak one in :P

Please let me know if there is something you would like me to add or take out. My only criteria is that it is a...um "nice" place :)

June 23, 2008 SL5B: Second Life's 5th Birthday, a big celebration with resident displays filling 20 sims!

Garden of NPIRL Delights: A build festival featuring the works of 110 builders, spread across 4 sims; a joint event of the Rezzable and NPIRL group

Christmas 2007: Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from Blue, Natalia, and Poof...Poof, stop running around the tree!

Winterland 2007: Revisiting Winterland, with the new high-speed Santa Sleigh ride :)

Liquid Heat Haunted Cave: A dramatic haunted sim and a train ride showing off the skills of its builders!

3rd Annual Octoberville 2007: A giant Halloween scavanger hunt in a haunted sim, with mazes, haunted house, and a spooky town

Apr 16, 2007 Coke Virtual Thirst Contest: Coca-cola is sponsoring a contest in Second Life to design a vending machine that dispenses the Coke experience; they have a pavilion where you can see some sample machines

Apr 6, 2007 Hair Fair 2007: The biggest hair event of the year, with almost every hair designer in SL in attendance across 2 sims

Feb 23, 2007 Virtual Angels: Yardsale in support of the Virtual Angels charity

Winterland 2006: Bedford Falls from "Its a Wonderful Life" re-created in SL, complete with main street, the bridge, and you can even fall thru the ice ;P Open during the winter holiday season :)
