There are 15 color packs with 4 colors per pack (60 hair colors in all).
All Sirena hairstyles come in 3 sizes (S, M, L) for easy fitting and adjustment.

hi natalie so sorry to bother you need help with your accessory headband i bought. I keep touching with left click (should it be a hand with finger point?) but no ability to change its color. Forgive me but didn't know how to get you.

Dosido, sorry about the problem! You are doing it right (just Touch or Left-click on the accessory to change the color). Unfortunately, sometimes there are problems with lag or sims that do not permit scripts. Just try it again in a diff place or time (it usually works!) And once you change it, the color will stay until you want to change it again.

Hi Natalie! I've just joined SL a few days ago and thanks to your site, I was able to find my way around SL. :) I only found out tonight (while browsing through) that you owned Sirena Hair & Fashion. I just want to thank you for the hair pieces you've generously shared at the Free Dove. I love love LOVE it! Been using it since day one. I've also dropped by your shop a while ago and my jaw literally dropped because your pieces looked amazing! Hope I could make my own stuff as well, but I still have sooo much to learn. A good friend referred me to your blog when we were discussing to start clothing design... Since visiting your blog I missed some time being inworld to catch up reading your blogs. I really enjoy reading through some of the stories and learning from your experience. My sl will never be the same :)
Now my reason for posting, actually i was trying to buy a demo hair style from your shop and at also get the much discounted Jenny hair style. Unfortunately i seem unable to get anything from your shop, apart from the freebies. Is there a known issue with sl payments? I accepted to buy the demo package, however, the money is never transferred. As for the Jenny style, I do not even get an option to buy...
Can you please look into this matter, I am dying to spend my money... lol

Thank you for your reply. After reading your answer I went back to the store to check it out. Again I noticed the same symptoms as I had before, however, this time I was more persistent since you told me everyting should be fine...
Finally I found that it had to do with my distance with respect to the vendors. As soon as I got close enough the process worked as I expected :) This probably is related to client side settings - I use a very low drawing distance in my preferences to be quicker with rendering new places. I haven't verified this.
I still think it is weird that half the process completes as expected - when trying to buy a demo product I do get a list of items included and a request to confirm my sale - however, after agreeing to the purchase the process breaks and the money is never transferred and no products are received.
Anyway, it all works when I get close enough to the merchandise and I am happy again. I didn't try the demo on yet, however, this will happen soon...
Now I have one question for the Jenny hairstyle (very nice product btw!). In the package is a ribbon included in two colours, however, when I try to change the colours I can only change this into one new colour that is applied to all ribbons. Is there any way to end up with both ribbons in different -user selected- colours?

Jisel, thanks for the comment! Lol I totally forgot about that issue with distance :P SL is really weird like that, isnt it?
Regarding the Jenny hair (or any accessory with more than 1 color), there is generally one color that is changeable, and the others are fixed. This is really done to keep things simple with a single Touch menu. Otherwise, there would have to be some complex menu just to color diff parts of the accessory :(
However, the hair comes with Mod permission, so you can change the yellow part if you like. If you Edit the ribbon, select "Edit link part", then select the individual pieces, you can change the color permanently under the Texture tab. :)
Love the hair....BUT, I paid and didn't get the George hair. The money was deducted from my account, but no hair. I would love to get the Black George Hair I paided for...... My SL name is Snape Caudron

just wondering if you'd ever thought of making hair with scripts so that when you click on the hair it changes from one hair style to another, such as going from a ponytail to leting it down and vice versa. I know alot of people that would be willing to pay a great deal of money for hair like that.

As I plan to explorer this much more and interesting in writing animations etc.. and may be opening my own store in future, I'd be happy to chat with you sometime, if possible, about your great experiences in sl.
Also I got funny idea. Could hairs be animated, say change colors like rainbow or shape like real hairs in wind?

Dan, thank you :) Yes, you can animate textures using a script (which basically moves the texture around). You can also use flexi prims to make hair look like they are moving in the wind :) Heehee good luck with your adventures and have fun in SL!

I tried on one of the Sirena demo hair styles here. Try as I might I can't get the eyebrows to detach. Any advice ladies? Thanks! Joandarc.
Joandarc, you should be able to Detach the demos by Right-clicking on the box and select "Detach". The eyebrows are not part of the hair. There are 2 types of eyebrows in SL: one is part of your shape (and is controlled by the Appearance menu), the other is a prim attachment (you can Right-click on this type of eyebrow and select "Detach"). Hope that helps :)

Hi Natalia - Stopped by your store today and bought several great items. I love that your hair comes in several sizes for those of us too lazy to adjust our purchased hair. Hi...I just love your hair its the only ones i wear, ive bought so many lol, and I was wondering if youd ever thought of making one with a long french braid, or one of a long pony tail that is scripted and gets pulled up with a cute summer baseball cap, where the pony tail comes out the back of it :)
Dear Anonymous, heehee I was just talking to someone about the ponytail thru the baseball cap. I thought about it...lol until I saw an article in a fashion mag (Allure? not sure) saying that its a fashion mistake. Thats when I stopped doing it in RL (Ive only done it a couple time, honest :P)

I thought about a medium French Braid that opens up (so it would be less stiff). Then go to an updo. Lol you wont believe how many pix I have on my desk :P
I know its been months but I wanted to just post about the eyebrow issue...yes they can be controlled by the appearance menu BUT...bald bases affect eyebrow placement. It's strange I know because its supposed to be your own bald base, but its happened to me and I'm still not sure if its a mixture of skin and bald base not working properly together or what, but I can't use one bald base because it arches my brows so high, but I can another designer's file bald base (again weird because its MY bald base they are going off of right?). Anyway, just wanted to let you in on that little thing. :o) Love your tutorials! Thank you so much for doing this!
Candy, thats so weird...I have to check it :) Basically, Bald Bases are just Hairs with zero's in everything (Go to Appearance, Hair, and change everything to zero). Its odd that it affects eyebrows (which is part of the Shape setting)...

I bought some male hair from your store for my friend. I only purchased it because it said on the sign "No refunds because of mod/copy permissions." And then MOD/COPY appeared in green lettering (which I assumed meant "Yes.") and NO TRANSFER (Which appeared in red lettering, which I assumed meant "No.")
Now it turns out that I am unable to make a copy for him. He is unable to copy it for himself (if I was wearing it or placed it in world). While the amount of Lindens I spent is not significant, I would like to know how to buy a gift of your hair for my friend, for future reference. Would you please clarify for what the policies you display actually mean in practical terms? Thank you.

Davinia, all Sirena hairstyles are Copy/Mod and No Transfer. With Copy perm, you can copy the hair, but only within your own Inventory. With Mod perm, you can edit the prims in the hair. But since they are No Transfer, you cannot give the hair to another person. These are probably the most common permissions for prim hairs in SL.
For gifts, you can use either SL Exchange or Shop.Onrez to buy something and send it to another person. Unfortunately, there's no easy way to do it directly in the store. Hope that helps :)

Hi Natalia, Ive finally have an understanding of how to make clothing but my problem is how do I get rid of the arms? I even cut them completely off the template and they still show up. Im confused about that and I hope you can help me. My shirt is supposed to be sleeveless. This is probably a dumb question but Im stuck.
Dear Anonymous, you need to add either an Alpha Channel or use the PNG file format. Check out the Photoshop-PNG or GIMP tutorials (they go step by step on how to build the transparency info)

Hello Natalia, this might seem nothing to do with hair adjusting but.
Today when I logged on SL, i got black parts attached to my body, but I didnt wear anything black so that is pretty weird. If I go to other rooms, do they see this?
Is this normal, does it happen to everyone?

Dear Anonymous, that doesn't sound normal...try this: Right-click on the Black parts and see if you can "Detach" them. If you cannot, try TP to another sim. There are sometimes griefers who like to do that type of thing...

Hi, in SL I have in my inventory...Sirena Shelly Demo.....i dont want it anymore and since a wear the Sirena hair bald base...i CANT change my apparence anymore...i CANT delete the folder Sirena demo pack...what the fu**** I want my old me...and be able to change my look anytimes...
Dear Anonymous, to remove the Bald Base, just wear another SL Hair (one that looks like a little hair icon). In SL, you cannot Detach a hair (your AV always has to be wearing a hair).
Once you wear a different hair, you can then delete the Demo folder.
lol SL has its own weirdness...but I never try to force anyone to wear anything they dont want ;)

Few days ago I received from a friend Sirena Gift Certificate and desided to buy two Sirena hair packs - Sirena Tyra Black and Sirena Tyra Brown.

The reason I ask this is that I am having problems with the dynamics etc on the V4 model.
It is virtually impossible to get any tech help such as a tutorial for this product.
The Daz3D Documentation is no good.
